From what I've seen, Samsung Health can make the watch emulate a NDEF NFC tag which, when read (by a phone or other reader), can cause an activity to be opened (on the watch). I started by adding these 2 privileges: /nfc and /nfc.card_emulation Then I tried to see what is supported: IsNfcSupported using : Tizen.System.Information.TryGetValue(“ http://tizen.org/feature/network.nfc ”, out bool isNfcSupported) -> it returns true on my watch There is a mention for HCE (Host-based Card Emulation). This interests me, however the documentation is far from clear: I tried to use “nfc_manager_set_hce_event_cb”, but no event is being received at all, when I approach my watch to a NFC-reader device. All of the most recent Galaxy watches support NFC, and you can find out if yours does by following these steps. Tap Settings, then Connections. If your watch supports NFC, you will see an NFC option. This allows any Android application to emulate a card and talk directly to the NFC reader. I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 Fe and a Galaxy Watch 3, both of them have an NFC card.
